5 Mile Road Race

Scottish Heavy Events

  This 5-mile race is a great opportunity for healthy competition with friends of all ages that have returned home for the Games followed by socializing and refreshments in the Ceilidh Pub.

The 5 Mile Road Race for the 2023 Antigonish Highland Games will  take place on Friday, July 7th and begin at 6PM on the track at Columbus Field End of Main Street. The course is flat, out & back, approximately 3 miles of a gravelled path (no traffic), with the remainder on paved streets with the beginning and end on a dirt track.

  • Registration
  • Entry fee: $45 for adults and $20 for juniors (18 and under) & youth (13 and under) –  This includes t-shirt and refreshment ticket for 19+
  • Cash prizes for the top three female & male runners and medals will be given 
  • Reception in Ceilidh tent to follow the race
