Kilted Golf Tournament Stroke Play
  • LOCATION: Antigonish Golf & Country Club
  • INDIVIDUAL STROKE PLAY & 4 PERSON SCRAMBLE
    • COST: $50 per member / $90 per guest
    • Carts are $25 per person

  • LOCATION: Main Street, Antigonish

  • There will be vendors, food trucks, music and more!

Gaelic language & Traditions Workshops
  • LOCATION: Gaelic Community Room
  • TIME: 6PM to 7PM
  • Lewis MacKinnon will be holding a workshop for intermediate/advanced Gaelic speakers.
  • Lewis MacKinnon has been an important figure in the Gaelic community for several years through his work with the office of Gaelic affairs and Gaelic revitalization in Nova Scotia. Lewis is a fluent Gaelic speaker, singer, poet, and teacher. His Gaelic knowledge and language skills are renowned in the Gaelic community.

Ceilidh at the Museum
  • LOCATION: Antigonish Heritage Museum
  • TIME: 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM 
  • Featuring Leona Williams and Karen Beaton & Friends 

 

Gaelic language & Traditions Workshops
  • LOCATION: MULH Room 3022
  • TIME: 5PM to 6PM & 6PM to 7PM
  • Instructors of Alasdair Cameron & Dr. Shamus Y. MacDonald
  • It can be very imitating to learn a new language but Alasdair Cameron is the most welcoming and friendly person you would ever meet! This will be a very inclusive environment with a range of beginners. If you have one word or a few phrases it doesn’t matter. He will be doing a workshop from 5PM to 6PM about Beginner Gaelic!
  • Dr. Shamus Y. MacDonald is a well-known face in the Gaelic community. A very experienced educator with a passion of sharing the story of the Gaels. This is going to be an amazing opportunity to take advantage of! He will be doing a workshop from 6PM to 7PM about Folklore!
  • All are welcome! No experience is required!
